Jonathan graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Kansas in 2001.  Since then, he has performed with various symphonies and organizations throughout the Midwest, including the Kansas City Symphony, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Des Moines Metro Opera, Kansas Concert Opera, New Opera of St. Louis, New Theatre Restaurant and the Kansas City Chorale.  

He has been seen on stage as Albert in Albert Herring, Fenton in Falstaff, Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Laertes in Hamlet, St. Brioche in Merry Widow, and Snout in A Midsummer Night's Dream.  In addition to performing various cantatas and chamber pieces in the area, Jonathan sang the role of Raven in the world premiere of Robert Kapilow's Summer Sun, Winter Moon with the Kansas City Symphony. 

Jonathan lives in Lawrence with his wife Vanessa and four children Kara, Tiffani, Sofia, and Tristan.
