Ronald Lee Downs has sung in
various professional choral ensembles for more than 30 years.
A resident
of
Baltimore,
MD, he currently
sings with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society, the Choir of Christ
Church,
Georgetown (
Washington,
DC), Conspirare (
Austin,
Texas), and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale (
New Mexico).
Ron
actively researches, collects and studies unaccompanied choral works of
the
Renaissance and Contemporary eras, particularly late twentieth through
twenty-first
century repertoire. He also does extensive work in computerized music
engraving
and publishing. |
